By creating an account or using The Forge mobile app or web platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Forge provides AI-assisted workout programming, session logging, progress tracking, and coaching tools for gym members and personal training clients. Your gym or coach may provision your account and assign programmes.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate profile information. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service, or have parental consent where required by law.
Training programmes and AI recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. You assume all risk of injury from physical exercise. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
Where your gym enables nutrition guidance, any calorie or macronutrient targets shown are general information only and do not constitute nutritional, dietary, or medical advice. They are generated from your profile and do not account for your individual medical circumstances. Consult a registered dietitian or your GP before acting on them. This feature is not intended for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, or has a history of an eating disorder.
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, scrape data, or use the AI features to generate harmful or illegal content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
AI-generated programmes and coaching responses may contain errors. Always use your judgment and consult a qualified coach where appropriate. We do not guarantee specific fitness outcomes.
You can connect Apple Health on iPhone, or Health Connect on Android, so your training adapts to your recovery. With your on-device permission we read a small set of read-only signals — heart-rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, and sleep duration — used solely to tailor your readiness score, training targets and coaching. This data is never sold or shared with other members or third parties. You grant and revoke access in iOS Settings, or in the Health Connect app on Android, and can disconnect at any time from the app’s settings.
The service includes community features — gym activity feeds, workout leaderboards and shared training sessions — visible to other members of your gym only. Content you post must be accurate, your own, and respectful; abusive, offensive, discriminatory or misleading content is not permitted. You can report any member content and block members. Reports are reviewed by your gym’s administrators, who may hide or remove content, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly break these rules.
You may delete your account at any time from the app’s settings. Your gym administrator may also deactivate access. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems, subject to legal retention requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capstone Software Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including injuries sustained during exercise.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
